EFFECTIVE: JANUARY 1, 2019
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the rights and obligations of Kurfis Aliz Edit Sole Proprietor (hereinafter: Service Provider) and the Client (hereinafter: Client) using the electronic commerce services provided by the Service Provider through the website www.artlizdesign.hu (hereinafter: Website). The Service Provider and the Client are hereinafter collectively referred to as Parties.
These GTC apply to all legal transactions and services conducted through the www.artlizdesign.hu website, regardless of whether the performance takes place from Hungary or abroad, by the Service Provider or its intermediary.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION, CONTRACT FORMATION BETWEEN THE PARTIES
1.1. These GTC apply to all electronic commerce services provided through the www.artlizdesign.hu website (hereinafter: Webshop) within Hungary. They also apply to any commercial transactions between the Parties as defined herein. Purchases in the webshop are governed by Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce and information society services (“E-Commerce Act”).
1.2. Purchases in the webshop can be made by placing an order electronically, as specified in these GTC.
1.3. Most services of the webshop are available to all users without registration. However, some services may require registration and login, to which anyone is entitled under the GTC.
1.4. After placing the order, the contract can be freely modified or canceled until its fulfillment. This can be done by phone or email.
A contract between the Parties is considered a written contract in Hungarian language, and the Service Provider records and stores it for 5 years from its creation.
1.5. The contract language is Hungarian.
1.6. The Service Provider does not adhere to any code of conduct.

2. REGISTRATION (if applicable)
2.1. Registration is available under the “Registration” menu on the Homepage, consisting of two steps:
A preliminary form (requiring a chosen username, a valid email address, and a password) validated by clicking a link sent by email.
A detailed personal form to be filled out before placing orders.
By registering, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC and the Privacy Policy, and consents to the data processing described therein.
2.2. The Service Provider is not responsible for delivery delays or other issues caused by incorrect or inaccurate data provided by the Client. The Service Provider is also not liable if the Client forgets their password or it becomes accessible to unauthorized parties for reasons not attributable to the Service Provider.
Clients can modify their previously provided data after logging in via the “Personal Data Modification” option. The Service Provider is not responsible for any issues arising from such changes.
3. ORDERING PROCEDURE
3.1. The essential characteristics, usage instructions, and specifications of products can be found on the product information page. The Service Provider’s performance is considered compliant if the product exceeds the specifications provided on the website or in the user manual.
If the Client has questions, customer service is available. Mandatory instructions are provided with the product where legally required.
3.2. Prices are indicated next to each product and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are not included unless shown on the final payment page.
3.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to change product prices on the website; changes are effective immediately upon publication and do not affect already ordered products.
3.4. In the event of an obviously incorrect price due to errors (e.g., “0 HUF” or “1 HUF”), the Service Provider is not obliged to deliver at the incorrect price but may offer the correct price, allowing the Client to withdraw from the purchase.
3.5. Orders can be placed without registration, but all required fields must be completed. Clients add products to the cart using the “Add to cart” button and finalize orders via the “Checkout” process.
4. CORRECTING DATA ENTRY ERRORS
Clients can correct errors at any stage before submitting the order.
5. BINDING OFFER, ORDER CONFIRMATION
5.1. Upon receiving an order, the Service Provider confirms it via an automated email within 48 hours, including order details, products, quantities, prices, shipping costs, and total payment.
5.2. The Client is not bound by the offer if confirmation is not received within 48 hours.
5.3. Errors in the confirmation email must be reported within 1 day.
5.4. Orders placed electronically are contracts under the Hungarian Civil Code and the E-Commerce Act, complying with consumer rights regulations (45/2014 Korm. rendelet and EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
6. DELIVERY AND PAYMENT TERMS
6.1. Products are delivered via a courier according to the conditions on the Delivery & Payment page. Delivery cost changes take effect immediately on the website but do not affect existing orders.
6.2. Clients can choose a delivery interval, but not a precise time.
6.4. Services are provided at the address indicated in the order confirmation.
6.5. Payment methods and delivery options are available on the relevant page.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from product receipt without justification, except for:
Sealed audio or video recordings or software if opened,
Customized products, or products made to the consumer’s specifications.
Procedure:
7.1.1. Submit a clear withdrawal notice via post or email.
7.1.4. Notice is timely if sent within 14 days.
7.1.6. Products must be returned within 14 days.
7.1.8. Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
7.1.10. Refunds, including standard shipping costs, are made within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.
8. WARRANTY
8.1. Mandatory warranty is governed by the Civil Code and Government Decree 151/2003. The warranty applies unless the Service Provider proves the defect resulted from misuse.
8.2. Voluntary warranty may be provided and specified on the product and warranty card.
9. LIABILITY FOR DEFECTS
9.1. Consumers may exercise statutory warranty for 2 years (non-consumers: 1 year). Remedies include repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdrawal in case of significant defect.
9.2. Product liability (termékszavatosság) applies for defects existing at the time of market release. Clients have 2 years to claim.
10. LIABILITY
The Service Provider is not liable for:
Accuracy or completeness of information on the website,
Damages arising from website use, except intentional or grossly negligent acts, or violation of life/health,
Behavior of users or third-party websites linked from the website.
11. COPYRIGHT
11.1. The website content is protected by copyright. Any use beyond private purposes requires prior written permission.
